UHMAC was founded in 1987 by Jim McBride in Holland, NY. He grew his machine tool, service and repair business through hard work, and dedication to the trade.

In 2020 Jim met Luke Gier while completing a machine move together. He appreciated Luke’s work ethic and similar passion for the trade. Seeing this, Jim felt more content to retire and hand off the business to the next generation.
